Tekken 7 Season 3 & New Tekken World Tour Details Revealed
By Jonathan ToyadVerified|December 9, 2019|0 Comment
Bandai Namco just dropped a ton of news regarding its staple fighting game Tekken 7 to the delight of fans and pro players. Let’s go through them one-by-one:
In addition to more Leroy Jenkins Smith, we are also getting returning sumo wrestler Ganryu and newcomer Muay Thai user Fahkumram.
Leroy’s fighting style is Wing Chun-style kung fu complete with doggie attacks.
Clearly, Julia has some history with Ganryu and is none too pleased with the sumo wrestler’s return.
Tattoo’ed edgelord here can take a beating and has some armour properties in most of his long-reaching moves.
The first leg of the new tournament will start in April 2020. Basically, any Tekken tournament before that will not be counted as a TWT tournament, like the Tekken 7 tournament in EVO Japan 2020.
The Tekken World Tour 2019 finals boasted some of the best high-level fights, chief of all the final few bouts from Chikurin, Ulsan, and Knee.
The top 8 fighters in the world are listed below:
1. THY|Chikurin (Geese, Akuma)
2. Fate|Ulsan (Kazumi, Bob)
3. ROX|Knee (Steve, Paul, Bryan)
4. RB|Anakin (JACK-7)
5. UYU|Double (Law)
5. Yamasa|Nobi (Dragunov)
7. UYU|LowHigh (Shaheen)
7. JDCR (Dragunov)
Also, congratulations to Philippines’ AK and Thailand’s Book for making it pretty far in the TWT 2019 Last Chance Qualifier tournament, though they were beaten by one of Pakistan’s finest: Bilal.
