Kill Bill Vol. 3 Might Be Tarantino’s Last Movie

Quentin Tarantino has previously said that his tenth movie will be the last. 2019’s Once Upon A Time In Hollywood was his ninth, which means that his next movie will fit the bill, so to speak. Well, it turns out that his last movie could be the sequel to 2004’s Kill Bill Vol. 2.

In an interview with radio host Andy Cohen, Tarantino seems to be actively exploring ideas for a Kill Bill Vol. 3, even recently meeting up with The Bride actress herself, Uma Thurman.

He said:

“I just had dinner with Uma Thurman last night.

We were at a really cool Japanese restaurant.

I do have an idea of what I would do with [‘Kill Bill Vol. 3’].

That was the whole thing, conquering the concept.

What has happened to The Bride since then? And what do I want to do?”

However, Tarantino also added that he wants to do a sequel worthy of the character he created, confirming that it will be at least three years away from now before he either starts making the movie or releases it.

“I didn’t just want to come up with some cockamamie adventure.

[The character] doesn’t deserve that.

The Bride has fought long and hard.

I have an idea now that could be interesting.

I still wouldn’t do it for a little bit.

It would be at least three years from now.

It is definitely in the cards.”

Hearing all this, Tarantino’s last movie could very well be Kill Bill Vol. 3. He recently picked up Golden Globes nominations for Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, and the movie is still expected to pick a few for the Oscars as well.

We’ll have to wait and see what Tarantino’s final movie will actually be. It might also be that Star Trek movie he previously mentioned that he wanted to do, but let’s hope it’s not. Check out Tarantino’s discussion with Andy Cohen below.
