Played by Matthew Porretta, the man who voiced Alan Wake, Dr. Casper is the most entertaining character in Control. I speak for many fans of the games when I say that this [SPOILER WARNING] video caught us off guard and made us smile for quite a while.

In a game where everyone hates your guts (for good reason), it’s really nice to see at least two women who appreciate the sights and sounds of an evil goose.

It’s a talking dog wearing sunglasses and a Hawaiian shirt. What else do we have to say?

#24 Detective Lt. Kim Kitsuragi – Disco Elysium

To say that the world of Disco Elysium is insane would be an understatement. Thankfully, you’ll always be accompanied by the level-headed and sometimes quite humourous lieutenant. You have to admire his level of tolerance towards your f***-up of a protagonist. 

#25. Sadie Adler – Red Dead Redemption 2

To all you people who have a hard time writing strong female characters with properly-paced character development, observe and analyse Sadie Adler.

#26. Meowscular Chef – Monster Hunter World

A former companion of the man in charge of the entire Research commission. He retired from hunting monsters so that he could become head chef at Astera.

Some hunters come to the New World just so that they can enjoy his food. No joke.

#27. Gerard and Pierre Magimel – Shadow Hearts Series

This brotherly duo would upgrade your character in exchange for gay porn hidden in all sorts of places in 1941 pre-World War 2. We are not making this stuff up. 

#28. The Merchant – Resident Evil 4

Only one man has become iconic enough to make the phrase “Whaddya buyin’?” memorable for an entire generation.

#29 Solaire of Astora – Dark Souls

In the bleak and depressing world of Dark Souls, Solaire is the one shining beacon of hope and friendliness that not only provides the player some chuckles but also a helping hand in many troubling times.

#30. Ratbag – Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor

To choose a favourite orc out of the dozens of charming ones in Shadow of Mordor is tough. However, Ratbag is one of the few who’s almost always made me feel entertained when I see him on screen thanks to his stupidity and humour.
