Popular game tracker site Gamestat have reportedly discovered listings for not only a Final Fantasy VII Remake demo on the PlayStation Store, but also one for the elusive Patapon 2 Remastered.
Let’s take this with a grain of salt, as a Final Fantasy VII Remake demo has yet to be officially announced by Square Enix, though the PlayStation Store listing might have leaked it ahead of its scheduled reveal.
Final Fantasy VII Remake is slated to release for the PS4 on 3 March 2020, so the likeliest time for the demo to drop is anytime before then. The game was already playable at many events like E3 2019 and TGS 2019, so a demo isn’t impossible.
Meanwhile, Patapon 2 Remastered was initially announced back in December 2017, with no news about the game since then. This listing will be the all we’ve seen or heard of the game since the announcement, so its release might be happening sooner than expected.
Patapon 2 was originally released for the PSP a decade ago in 2009. It became popular for its uniquely-charming visuals and fun rhythm-based gameplay.
Stay tuned on Kakuchopurei for when the official announcements for the Final Fantasy VII Remake demo and Patapon 2 Remastered, whenever that might be.
