Happy 25th Anniversary, PlayStation! The Best PS1 Games Of All Time
By Kakuchopurei|December 3, 2019|0 Comment
Today marks the 25th anniversary of the original PlayStation, which originally launched in Japan on 3 December 1994 and changing the landscape of the gaming industry forever. Sony’s first console is currently the fifth best-selling gaming console of all-time (including handhelds), with over 102.49 million units sold to date.
No other console can compare to the legacy of the PlayStation in gaming history. To celebrate that PS1’s anniversary milestone, we list down the best games on the iconic and legendary gaming machine. For the purpose of this article, we’ll only be counting those that began as PS1 exclusives; not multi-platform titles or ports.
Technically, we’ve done a list kinda like this one, but it’s addressing last year’s PlayStation Classic. Even so, we feel that we should shed light on some more titles that cemented the console’s ever-expanding legacy.
