This Famous Funny Actor Was the Stormtrooper Who Punched Baby Yoda

Despite what you think about Star Wars The Rise Of Skywalker, you’re probably one of the people who love Disney Plus exclusive The Mandalorian. It recently ended its first season consisting of eight episodes, and the season finale featured two stormtroopers at the very beginning, one of whom punched Baby Yoda.

Who is the actor playing that notorious and vile stormtrooper?

Well, it’s none other than Jason Sudeikis, the comedian best known for starring in movies like 2011’s Horrible Bosses and its 2014 sequel, as well as the voice of lead character Red in the Angry Birds animated movies.

Jason Sudeikis

It really was Sudeikis under the bike scout trooper armour, and though he ultimately met his demise at the hands of bounty droid turned nursemaid IG-11, the scene went viral, with many fans swearing to protect Baby Yoda with their lives.

It’s now even stated on Sudeikis’ Wikipedia page. Don’t believe me? Head on over there now.

The Mandalorian is already slated to receive its second season sometime in fall 2020. If you still haven’t watched the first season, do so now, you won’t regret it, especially if you’re a Star Wars who has been disappointed with the Sequel Trilogy.
