Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Gets 3v3 Gunfight & 2020 League Changes

The start of 2020 is looking bangin’ for the latest Call of Duty: Modern Warfare title.

First up, Infinity Ward will be rolling out a 3v3 version of Gunfight in the future according to their latest blog post. The company will also add more loadout slots for multiplayer in the coming weeks, so it will be more than five. For those not in the know, Gunfight is a new multiplayer mode where teams of two fight it out with randomized weapons and no respawns on a map. Tense stuff; it’ll be cool to see how 3v3 will pan out.

Secondly, there will be some changes in the Call of Duty League 2020 format. According to a recent video from Dallas Fuel CEO and former CoD pro Mike Rufail, the league will feature mini-tournaments across 12 home events. Each team will be guaranteed two matches at every event; a double eliminations format of sorts. This is to make sure fights between CoD teams are a bit more meaty, so to speak.

The Call of Duty League 2020 will start from 24th January and end on 26th July, PST time.
