It’s the start of a new year, which means the Oscars 2020 is a-go soon; this 9th February PST to be exact. And we have quite an eclectic list of films in the main category.

Comic book movie Joker has scored 11 Oscar nominations, including best picture, best director (Todd Phillips of Hangover fame), and best actor (Joaquin Phoenix). The Irishman, Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, and 1917 each have 10 Oscar nods apiece. Alongside these films in the best picture award are Ford v Ferrari, Jojo Rabbit, Little Women, Marriage Story, and Parasite.
