The Third Legend Of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel Game Will Be On PC Soon

If you want to get in on Falcom’s Legend of Heroes series, the Trails of The Sky instalments are available on PC right now. But if you want something a bit more “modern”, you can’t go wrong with the Cold Steel entries.

The first two, Trails of Cold Steel I and Trails of Cold Steel II, are already on PC, but you’ll have to wait a few months for the third one. Recently announced during a PAX South 2020 NIS America panel, the PC version will feature auto-save support, customizable keyboard inputs, ultrawide screen support, and a high-speed mode. That last one’s pretty important because the game can get super-draggy both from a story and combat perspective.

There will also be an early attendance bonus; if you pre-order the game either on GOG.com or Steam, you can get free cosmetic DLCs.

If you can’t wait that long, the PS4 version of The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III is out now. If you want the Switch version, you’ll have to wait until Spring 2020. As for me, my JRPG backlog is already packed enough. I still haven’t even finished the PC version of part II yet.
