Malaysians Can Start Pre-Ordering The PS5 For Less Than RM100

The PS5 is scheduled to be released near the end of 2020. Unfortunately, details are still very scarce about the console. I mean, we don’t even know what it looks like yet! Still, it’s the PS5 so there’s no doubt a lot of people want to get it no matter what.

For Malaysian gamers, you can start placing pre-order reservations for Sony’s upcoming console. Video game store Gamers Hideout is now accepting pre-orders for the first batch of PS5 consoles that will arrive at their stores. All you need to do is pay a deposit of RM99.90.

Some people will definitely think it’s far too early to have this level of confidence in a console. However, Sony has proved themselves capable of delivering a great console gaming experience time and time again so it’s not all that strange.

Furthermore, RM99.90 is a pretty decent amount for just getting into a priority list. For less than half the price of most AAA games, you’ll be one of the first few Malaysians to get the PS5. That’s a pretty solid deal.

Personally, I think it’s never a good idea to get the first batch of any new console. Almost all first batches of the PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch had some sort of day-one problem. Usually it’s heat dissipation issues. There’s also the lack of great launch titles.

If you’re one of those people who just want to be the first to own a console, then it’s still a damn good offer. Check out the Gamers Hideout Facebook page here.
