Chinese Action Game Lost Soul Aside Aiming To Release In 2020
By Burhanudin Zamri|January 6, 2020|0 Comment
If you’ve never heard of Lost Soul Aside, I don’t blame you. The game was initially being entirely developed by one person, Yang Bing. After being incorporated into Sony’s China Hero Project, he got himself a proper team in the form of Ultizero Games.
In a recent report by Xinwen Zongheng, Yang Bing said that the studio is aiming to release the game this year. It’s safe to assume that this confidence comes from finally having a team to support him.
“The milestone in 2020 is to release this game.”
– Yang Bing
Before this, the game never really had a release date. Yang Bing first released a trailer of the game back in 2016. While you’re watching it, keep in mind that he was still a one-man studio at the time. It’s only appropriate for Sony to be impressed with his work.
Details about the game are still scarce but what’s confirmed is that it will be an open world game. Combat appears to be fast-paced hack-n-slash reminiscent of the Devil May Cry games. Even in its incomplete form, the game already looks like it’d be really fun to play.
Being the part of the China Hero Project potentially implies that the game will be a PS4 exclusive. With the PS5 rumoured to have backwards compatibily with the PS4, there’s a good chance that it will still be relevant even if it comes out in late 2020.
