Yoodo and ESL Malaysia have announced the inaugural season of the ESL Malaysia Championship for Call of Duty Mobile. Yoodo is the Official Digital Telco for the upcoming championship.
The tournament will feature the top 16 Call Of Duty Mobile teams in the country, where they will compete for a total prize pool of RM40,000 as well as the pride of representing Malaysia at Garena World 2020.
Teams will have two opportunities to qualify for the ESL Malaysia Championship 2020. The first is via the Call of Duty Mobile Season 1 through 2 separate Open Qualifiers, which will be held on 8 and 15 February 2020, respectively.
Teams can sign up for the open qualifiers here. The top eight teams from each open qualifier will then advance to the main tournament and compete in a double-elimination bracket in which the best team in Malaysia will be crowned.
Yoodo Head Chow Tuck Mun said:
“Yoodo is proud to be at the frontline championing gamers and their passions.
We are excited to bring the anticipated championship to the esports community and
can’t wait for the intense action to kick off!”
In the meantime, follow ESL Malaysia on Facebook for the latest updates and to be notified of the upcoming live streams, which will be broadcast in Bahasa Malaysia.
