First Fast & Furious 9 Trailer To Drop Later This Month

The last numbered installment in the long-running franchise was 2017’s The Fate Of The Furious. Three years later, the sequel will finally be released, and a trailer is imminent. United International Pictures has announced that the first Fast & Furious 9 trailer will debut on 31 January 2020 at 3.50pm ET or 8.50pm GMT+8 for Southeast Asian countries.

The ninth entry in the franchise will see the return of Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Nathalie Emmanuel, John Cena, Helen Mirren, and Charlize Theron, with new additions like Michael Rooker and even John Cena.

However, fan-favourites Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Jason Statham won’t be reprising their roles as Hobbs and Shaw, since they had their spinoff movie released last year (check out our review of Hobbs and Shaw here).

A tenth entry is already confirmed, so the franchise won’t be ending anytime soon. Stay tuned on Kakuchopurei for when the trailer drops at the end of this month. Fast & Furious 9 is slated to premiere on 22 May 2020.
