The Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair Free Demo Is Coming To All Platforms
By Burhan ZamriVerified|January 21, 2020|0 Comment
The original Yooka-Laylee had a shaky launch, but it went on to sell more than a million units a year after its release. Just a few months ago, Playtonic Games released a spin-off called Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair and there’s a chance it’ll also be a mild success.
For those of you haven’t had the chance to play the 2.5D platformer, you’re in luck. A free demo of the game is coming very soon to Steam, PS4, and Nintendo Switch. Unfortunately, no date has been given for Xbox One owners.
Here’s when the free demo goes live on each platform:
Steam: 23 January 2020
PS4 & Nintendo Switch: 30 January 2020
One awesome thing about the demo is that it won’t have a time limit. Other than that, you’ll also be able to carry over your demo progress to the full game if you decide to buy it. There’s an assortment of levels you can play through to give you a good sense of what the game is like.
In Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair, you control Yooka and Laylee, a chameleon-bat duo. Your task is to make it to the end of each level and defeat their arch-nemesis Capital B. The villain wants to enslave an entire kingdom of bees and it’s your job to stop him.
Thanks, Gamer Matters.
