Official PS5 Website Is Live But “Not Quite Ready” For Full Reveal
By Alleef Ashaari|February 5, 2020|0 Comment
Without warning or fanfare of any kind, Sony Interactive Entertainment has launched an official PS5 homepage on the PlayStation website earlier today, seemingly gearing up for the rumoured February PS5 reveal event. Interestingly, users can sign up for all the latest PS5 updates to be sent directly to them via email from PlayStation themselves.
The paragraph on the official PS5 homepage reads:
We’ve begun to share some of the incredible features you can expect from PlayStation 5, but we’re not quite ready to fully unveil the next generation of PlayStation.
Sign up below to be among the first to receive updates as we announce them, including news on the PS5 release date, PS5 price and the upcoming roster of PS5 launch games.
The banner showcases the recently-revealed PS5 official logo and the previously-confirmed Holiday 2020 release window. Besides that, it doesn’t reveal much, other than the fact that PlayStation is admitting that they likely won’t be revealing the PS5 as soon as most gamers are anticipating.
However, the PS5 homepage going live does indicate that Sony is clearly gearing up to officially reveal more about the PS5 itself in the near future. With Sony once again skipping E3 2020 later this year, it seems like they have their own plans for the ultimate unveiling of the upcoming next-gen console.
In the meantime, stay tuned on Kakuchopurei for all the latest news on the PS5, and check out all the latest updates and developments on all things PS5 to date here.
