It’s been almost two years since Westworld Season 2. I’m sure you don’t really remember the finer details of what happened by the end of that season (I know I don’t), but all you really need to know is that the hosts (robots/androids/machines) are now out in the real world.

In the new Westworld Season 3 trailer, Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood) begins by saying:

“I was born into this world, and my first memories of it are pain.

For my kind, there was one place we were never allowed to go, one place we were never allowed to see: your world.”

Apparently, Aaron Paul’s new character is named Caleb, and he will be working together in some capacity with Dolores, as it seems like she has a new plan brewing. Whatever it is, it’ll surely be convoluted as heck.

The Westworld Season 3 trailer might also be teasing a host vs host showdown between Dolores and Maeve (Thandie Newton), as someone has seemingly hired (or ordered) Maeve to kill Dolores.

I loved it when Dolores ends the trailer by teasing the epicness that is to come in Westworld Season 3:

“New gods are coming.

They’re very angry.”

Westworld Season 3 will also feature returning cast like Jeffery Wright’s Bernard, Tessa Thompson’s Hale, Ed Harris’ Man in Black, Luke Hemsworth’s Stubbs. It is set to premiere on 15 March 2020.
