This Upcoming Multiplayer Game Is Harry Potter’s Quidditch Plus Rocket League

I’m sure most of you are familiar with the car-slash-football game Rocket League. What if I told you that there’s an upcoming game that replaces the futuristic cars with wizards riding on broomsticks ala that one Hogwarts University sport?
Enter Broomstick League, which is basically the multiplayer online PC Quidditch game we needed since, well, the Quidditch video game back in 2003 when EA was publishing Harry Potter titles.
Apart from kicking the giant fantasy orb-slash-football, your broom riders can also use spells to warp around the arena and hit the ball out of your opponent’s range. Broomstick League offers three game modes: 1v1, 2v2, and 3v3. It also features the usual leaderboards, stats, and upgrade options. And it looks pretty fun.
Time will tell if the game will get an esports or competitive following, but stranger things have happened. You can look forward to this version of Quidditch when Broomstick League hits Early Access this 5th March. If you want to help the team out with feedback, you can opt for the beta test.
