New DICE Job Listings Hint At Major Next-Gen Effort
By Alleef Ashaari|February 7, 2020|0 Comment
EA DICE is the studio responsible for franchises like Battlefield, the new Star Wars Battlefront, and Mirror’s Edge. They recently updated their official website with loads of new job listings, which begs the question: Why is EA DICE going on such a huge hiring spree?
It’s easy to see why. The next generation of gaming is going to kick off later this year with the launch of the PS5 and Xbox Series X, and DICE will is likely gearing up for it with a brand new Battlefield game of some kind. DICE’s last major title was 2018’s Battlefield V, so the developer must have something up its sleeves in the near future.
DICE is hiring:
Artists
Animators
TA
Designer
Producers
Development Directors
UI
Quality Analysts
Data Analysts
HR
Managers
Engineers
Interns
…

Most of the new job listings are for the EA DICE headquarters in Stockholm, Sweden, but there are also some openings for their LA branch as well. This includes major roles like Development Director, Senior 3D Artist, Senior UI Artist, and more.
Some of these jobs tease new advancements like weather effects, ray tracing tech, and more. With a new Call Of Duty game coming out this year, I’m sure that DICE doesn’t want to miss out on another year with a new Battlefield instalment. Battlefield V focused on World War 2, but a Battlefield VI could always go back to modern warfare.
