By Alleef Ashaari|February 11, 2020|0 Comment
Team Ninja‘s Soulsborne-like action RPG Nioh has reached a new sales milestone, selling a whopping 3 million units since its early 2017 launch for the PS4 and later November 2017 release for the PC. In fact, the game recently celebrated its three-year anniversary on 7 February 2020.
Koei Tecmo announced the news with a tweet featuring unique commemorative artwork.

Nioh‘s sales milestone is a timely one because Nioh 2 will be releasing just next month on 13 March 2020. The prequel (the new game will be set before Nioh, chronologically) will allow players to create their own protagonist, which means they will no longer controlling previous protagonist William.
In other related news, Koei Tecmo recently confirmed that Nioh 2 will receive post-launch DLC.
