XCOM-Like Mafia Game Empire Of Sin Has Been Delayed
By Alleef AshaariVerified|February 19, 2020|0 Comment
Empire Of Sin was originally announced during E3 2019, a turn-based game in the style of XCOM, but with a distinctive setting; Prohibition-era Chicago where players engage in the seedy underworld of mobsters, bootleggers and mafia.
It was supposed to be released for the PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC sometime in Spring 2020, but has now been delayed.
The delay was announced by developer Romero Games via the game’s official Twitter account. Empire Of Sin is now slated to release sometime in Fall 2020, which will be between September and December.

Romero Games is headed by industry legends husband-and-wife duo John and Brenda Romero, who has worked on games like Wizardry, Doom, Jagged Alliance, and Quake. After the multiple XCOM titles and Phoenix Point, it will be great to see a more grounded tactical strategy game that doesn’t involve aliens or monsters.
