New Justice League Dark Trailer Teases Biggest DC Animated Crossover Yet

Justice League Dark: Apokolips War is the next DC animated movie offering, and it’s promising to be the biggest crossover assembling the most superheroes in the six-year-history of the new DC Animated Movie Universe (which began with 2014’s Justice League: War).

Directed by Matt Peters and Christina Sotta, Justice League Dark: Apokolips War will be R-rated and features dozens of returning characters played by their original voice actors. These include:

  • Jason O’Mara as Bruce Wayne/Batman
  • Jerry O’Connell as Kal-El/Clark Kent/Superman
  • Rosario Dawson as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman
  • Roger R. Cross as John Stewart/Green Lantern and Dr. Alec Holland/Swamp Thing
  • Nathan Fillion as Hal Jordan/Green Lantern
  • Matt Lanter as Arthur Curry/Aquaman
  • Sumalee Montano as Mera
  • Nyambi Nyambi as J’onn J’onzz/John Jones/Martian Manhunter
  • Sean Astin as Billy Batson/Shazam
  • Matt Ryan as John Constantine
  • Shemar Moore as Victor Stone/Cyborg
  • Taissa Farmiga as Rachel Roth/Raven
  • Christopher Gorham as Barry Allen/The Flash
  • Rainn Wilson as Lex Luthor
  • Rebecca Romijn as Lois Lane
  • Camilla Luddington as Zatanna Zatara
  • Ray Chase as Jason Blood/Etrigan
  • Hynden Walch as Harleen Quinzel
  • Stuart Allan as Damian Wayne/Robin
  • John DiMaggio as King Shark
  • Sachie Alessio as Lady Shiva
  • Jon Bernthal as Trigon
  • Tony Todd as Darkseid

You can spot some big names up there, some of whom have been voicing their respective characters for the past six years. Stars like Tony Todd of Candyman and Dota 2‘s Dragon Knight fame, Jon Bernthal of Netflix’s Punisher fame, Rebecca Romjin of the X-Men movie franchise’s Mystique fame, Nathan Fillion of Firefly fame, and lots more.

Looks like everyone on Earth, heroes and villains alike, will be teaming up to defeat Darkseid and his forces, similar to the final episode of 2004’s Justice League: Unlimited.

Produced by Warner Bros. Animation, DC, and Warner Bros. Home Entertainment, Justice League Dark: Apokolips War is slated to release on Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital sometime in spring 2020.

In the meantime, check out the trailer below.
