Amnesia Returns To Give Us A Horrific First-Person Experience This Fall

Did you like the first Amnesia game? Well, this might tickle your fancy: developer Frictional Games announced a follow-up called Amnesia: Rebirth aimed for PS4 and PC.

Players can expect a new protagonist and a new setting this time around, but with more twists to the story formula, refining of old features, and upping the ante on everything players have been through in the first game. In this case, it’s a dark desert setting with a lot of scary crawlspaces & mystic stuff to mess your head with.

Here’s the spiel from the devs:

“As you might expect from a Frictional game, we’re not simply going for a carnival attraction of jumpscares. Amnesia: Rebirth is an emotionally harrowing journey—something different, something less predictable. It will test you in ways you haven’t experienced before, and will make you think about the things that really scare you.”
