Horizon Zero Dawn PC Version Confirmed, Steam Page Already Up

PlayStation has finally confirmed the PC version of Guerilla Games’ Horizon Zero Dawn. The news was announced via PlayStation Blog in an interview with Worldwide Studios Head Hermen Hulst.

Hulst said that Horizon Zero Dawn on PC will launch sometime in Summer 2020, confirming that more information will be coming from new studio directors Michiel van der Leeuw, JB van Beek, and Angie Smets in the near future.

The official Steam page for Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition is already up, which you can check out here. It doesn’t reveal many details yet, including its pricing and specs requirements, but that will all be likely be added soon.

If you’re a Sony PlayStation fanboy, don’t worry. On the subject of whether more PlayStation exclusives will be releasing on PC, Hulst said:

“I think it’s important that we stay open to new ideas of how to introduce more people to PlayStation, and show people maybe what they’ve been missing out on.

And to maybe put a few minds at ease, releasing one first-party AAA title to PC doesn’t necessarily mean that every game now will come to PC.

In my mind, Horizon Zero Dawn was just a great fit in this particular instance.

We don’t have plans for day and date [PC releases], and we remain 100% committed to dedicated hardware.”

This confirmation comes after rumours were rife that a PC version of Horizon Zero Dawn was all but confirmed earlier this year. Now the PC Master Race can also enjoy one of the best PS4 exclusives ever made, likely with a superior version of the game.
