It seems that a remaster of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is on the way, amongst other Activision titles.
In a recent tweet, @TheGamingRevo2 wrote that Activision is working on several titles, including:
- Tony Hawk Pro Skater Remastered
- This year’s Call of Duty game (code-named PROJECT: ZEUS)
- Modern Warfare 2 Remastered
- A free-to-play Call of Duty game by Sledgehammer Games. due in 2021
- A PvP Crash Bandicoot game
- Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex Remastered
Some Activision games in the works: Tony Hawk Proskater Remastered, Call of Duty 2020 (code-named PROJECT: ZEUS), MW2 Remastered, a F2P COD game from SHGames (2021 ETA), a PvP Crash game, Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex Remastered

@TheGamingRevo2, who also has a YouTube channel called The Gaming Revolution, had previously leaked footage from the now-released Call of Duty: Warzone. Charlie Intel wrote that their original Twitter account was suspended as a result of Warzone leaks.
Another Twitter user, @Okami13_, also talked about a Modern Warfare 2 remaster late last month. @Okami13 had previously revealed that Warzone would launch in March 10 as a free-to-play title with squads-only matchups, which have all been true.
As with all rumours, I’d take it all with a pinch of salt until something concrete comes from Activision themselves. It’d be interesting to have a Modern Warfare 2 remaster just a year after the series’ soft reboot though.
