CS:GO Cracks 1 Million Concurrent Players Mark On Steam

9 years or so after its release, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive has cracked a million numbers for the first time in the concurrent player space. It’s the PC shooter that just wouldn’t die.

In fact, the past few years has been great for the multiplayer esports shooter. Earlier this year, CS:GO took the top spot from Dota 2 on Steam and is on the rise ever since. The funny thing is these numbers started going up ever since the coronavirus happened and started going pandemic. We’re guessing a lot of Chinese gamers in the region are quarantined and using up more time for CS:GO.
