That nasty ol’ COVID-19 pandemic is really putting a tizzy in game shipments, at least in the physical sense. Square Enix recently warned Final Fantasy VII Remake customers via Twitter that while the game will be out on 10th April as planned, physical copies may not reach everyone who ordered them.
“The worldwide release of Final Fantasy VII Remake on April 10th will go ahead,” said the official statement.
“However, with the unforeseeable changes in the distribution and re retail landscape which varies across countries, it is increasingly likely that some of you will not get hold of your copy of the game on the release date.”

Good on Square Enix to warn everybody firsthand. Everybody needs to be tolerant and do their part in being patient in such trying times. Still, if you’re in a hurry, the digital version will be available as planned.
