Here’s A First Look At Stalker 2

It’s been 10 years since the last Stalker game, Call of Pripyat, and almost two years since Stalker 2 was announced. Now, fans of GSC Game World’s series can finally take an official sneak peek at the upcoming sequel.

It’s just a single image, but it’s good to know that Stalker 2 still exists and that it looks deliciously atmospheric.

Wrecked cars, creepy forest, and a mysterious anomaly? Sure looks inviting – for stalkers (as in the in-game universe term), that is.

An announcement attached to the follow-up tweet says that this new instalment “will be our most ambitious game so far. It will live to the legendary legacy”, and teases further reveals for 2020.

I’ve yet to play the first two Stalker games, Shadow of Chernobyl and Clear Sky, but Call of Pripyat was a very memorable shooter with tense shootouts and various reasons to feel unnerved. I’m looking forward to the rest of the Stalker 2 reveals.
