Trials Of Mana Looks Gorgeous In New Gameplay Trailer
By Alleef AshaariVerified|March 6, 2020|0 Comment
Square Enix has not one, but two JRPG remakes coming out in April 2020. The first is Final Fantasy VII Remake, but not many may have realised the other one releasing later in the same month; Trials Of Mana. The original game (known as Seiken Densetsu 3 in Japan) initially launched back in 1995 for the SNES.
Trials of Mana is a full HD remake of the third entry in the classic Mana JRPG series, updated with fluid real-time combat and gorgeous 3D graphics. Players can experience vastly different stories by selecting a party of three from six unique characters. These characters can even change classes and learn over 300 different abilities.
The graphics remind me of 2018’s Dragon Quest XI: Echoes Of An Elusive Age (also by Square Enix), which means that it looks positively brilliant. Unlike that game’s traditional turn-based gameplay, Trials Of Mana features Tales-like real-time combat.
Those who pre-purchase or purchase Trials Of Mana by 21 May 2020 will receive the Rabite Adornment DLC, allowing players to gain more EXP after battles up to level 10. Pre-orders of the digital PS4 version of the game will also include an exclusive avatar set featuring the game’s six playable characters.
Trials Of Mana is slated to release for the PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC on 21 April 2020. In the meantime, check out the gameplay trailer below.
