Paradox Interactive Is Holding A Sale To Help Out With COVID-19 Funds

Swedish game publisher Paradox Interactive is best known for its grand strategy and RPG franchises. Now they’re helping to raise funds for the World Health Organisation’s COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund by holding a sale on Steam.

The fundraiser sale will run on Steam from now until 7pm CEST on 3 April 2020 or 1am GMT+8 on 4 April 2020 for countries in Southeast Asia like Malaysia or Singapore. Proceeds from the sale will be donated to the WHO in their battle against the COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic.

Games on sale include several of Paradox Interactive’s best. Check out the full list of titles and their discounted prices below:

  • Age Of Wonders: Planetfall – RM40
  • Cities: Skylines – RM11.20
  • Hearts of Iron IV – RM30
  • BATTLETECH – RM22.10
  • Surviving Mars – RM17.34
  • Pillars of Eternity – RM33.60
  • Tyranny – RM25.50
  • Shadowrun Returns – RM7.75
  • Shadowrun: Dragonfall – Director’s Cut – RM7.75
  • Shadowrun: Hong Kong – Extended Edition – RM9.50
  • Knights of Pen and Paper 2 – RM4.75

Head on over here to the Paradox Interactive fundraiser Steam page to purchase any of these games and contribute to the WHO’s effort against COVID-19. I personally recommend any of the Shadowrun games (all of which are great turn-based sci-fi RPGs) and Tyranny (by RPG masters Obsidian Entertainment).

Several days ago, the WHO announced their #PlayApartTogether campaign to encourage playing video games as a healthy habit and hobby to pass the time when staying at home during the COVID-19 pandemic.
