IGN Announces Summer Of Gaming Event

Looking to fill in the hole left by E3 2020’s cancellation, IGN has announced a Summer of Gaming digital event.
Set to be held in June, the event will feature studios and companies like 2K, Square Enix, SEGA, Bandai Namco, Amazon, Google Stadia, Twitter, Devolver Digital, and THQ Nordic. There will be live broadcasts, publisher presentations, remote interviews, and more.
IGN said that the event will be accessible on not just platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Twitch, but also Mixer, TikTok, Snapchat Discover, and more.
The ESA is considering an online event of its own, but no new announcement has been made yet. In the meantime, we’ll see if the Summer of Gaming event will make for a good E3 substitute.
