Final Fantasy VII Remake Producer Teases PC Gameplay Footage

Square Enix has released a new video message from Final Fantasy VII Remake producer Yoshinori Kitase in celebration of its worldwide launch for the PS4. In his message, Kitase essentially thanked fans and reassured them that it’s a game that “meets or goes beyond your expectations and is exciting to play”.

Overall, there’s nothing distinctive about Kitase’s video message, but interestingly, it features gameplay footage of Final Fantasy VII Remake that could be from a PC version of the game. A disclaimer appears at the bottom of the video in the beginning, stating: “Gameplay captured on PC”.

We already know that a PC version of Final Fantasy VII Remake may eventually or potentially be arriving sometime after the PS4 exclusivity ends in April 2021. However, this may the first time that a PC version has been officially teased in some way by Square Enix themselves.

Final Fantasy VII Remake is out now for PS4. Check out our review of the game here; it’s pretty good.
