The Final Fantasy VII Remake Orchestra World Tour was previously announced to have two stops in Southeast Asia. The first is in Singapore on 4 July 2020 while the second is in Thailand on 7 and 8 November 2020. However, organizer Avex Asia had to cancel the Singapore concert due to the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic still at large.

Now, Avex Asia has finally confirmed a new date for the Final Fantasy VII Remake Orchestra World Tour in Singapore on their official Facebook page. It has been rescheduled to 23 January 2021. Their statement reads:

“Dear FINAL FANTASY fans,

We are excited to announce that the new date for FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE Orchestra World Tour has been rescheduled to 23 January 2021, Saturday.

Please stay tuned to this space for more details at a later time. We hope you’ll continue to look forward to the concert!

In the mean time, please stay safe and stay home.”

While it may be disappointing to learn that fans will have to wait about half a year before the concert comes to Singapore, at least we now have a new confirmed date to look forward to. It’ll be a great start to 2021, that’s for sure.

The Final Fantasy VII Remake Orchestra World Tour will be conducted and directed by Distant Worlds’ Arnie Roth, and will include the recently-released game’s new theme song “Hollow”, alongside other iconic music from the game.
