Xbox Game Pass Boasts 10 Million Subscribers; Has Record Engagement

Microsoft has revealed in a recent earnings call that it has more than 10 million people subscribed to Xbox Game Pass, the service that gives players a library of games to play in exchange for a monthly subscription.

Why the high numbers? Most likely due to people practicing social distancing, hence spending more time at home playing games. And with a pretty low price for access to a ton of titles from the Xbox library? That’s too good to pass up.

Here’s an official quote from Microsoft:

“People everywhere are turning to gaming to sustain human connection while practicing social distancing. And we continue to deliver new exclusive, first and third-party content to attract and retain gamers”

On a related note, the two top games you should play on Xbox Game Pass right now are Ori and the Will of the Wisps and Gears Tactics. We gave them stellar reviews because of their well-designed gameplay.
