Apex Legends Reconnect Feature Is Coming Soon, Says Respawn Dev
By Alleef Ashaari|April 20, 2020|0 Comment
The worst thing to happen when you’re playing a game of Apex Legends is to experience disconnect errors, which have plagued Respawn Entertainment’s battle royale game since launch. Players loathe getting the ‘code:leaf’ error and other similar net server issues, so the developer is working on fixing those issues.
How?
Respawn is currently working on introducing the Reconnect feature for Apex Legends. Pro player Mac ‘Albralelie’ Beckwith’s game froze while he was playing in a tournament, getting hit by ‘code:rock’ error. Former pro player Marcel ‘Veineless’ Lehmann then replied by suggesting that a reconnect feature would solve all the issues.
Apex Legends developer Josh Medina swoops in and replied by confirming that the Reconnect feature is coming “real soon”.

A Reconnect feature would allow even players with unstable connections to play more smoothly and without experiencing game-breaking errors. With Season 5 on the way, Respawn would surely want to resolve all the current problems and issues beforehand.
The developer also recently changed how map rotation works after negative player feedback. The Old Ways event began on 7 April 2020, giving players a choice of queuing up for duos and trios, either on the Worlds Edge or King’s Canyon maps.
