We previously wrote that Gears 5 would be free to play for the next few days due to Xbox’s Free Play Days. If you already have it or aren’t interested in chainsaw guns, there are some other games included in the current lineup.

The other games are Hitman: The Complete First Season and Override: Mech City Brawl, which are available now till 12 April at 11.59pm PDT (13 April at 2.59pm in Malaysia). Last week’s offering, The Elder Scrolls Online Tamriel Unlimited, is still around too and will be available until 13 April at 11.59 pm PDT, or 14 April at 2.59pm here.

Unfortunately, Override: Mech City Brawl isn’t available in Asia on the Xbox One, so you’ll need an account from a different region to play it.

While the newer Hitman 2‘s improvements and legacy levels means that there’s not much of a reason to buy Hitman‘s first season, it’s still a fun globe-trotting sandbox assassination game that’s worth checking out for free. I thought it lacked some of Blood Money‘s flavour and was very disappointed that it didn’t feature a briefcase, but I sunk some time into it nevertheless.
