New ASUS ROG Strix Laptop & Peripherals Go Cyberpunk Pink
By Alleef AshaariVerified|April 2, 2020|0 Comment
ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has announced a new Electro Punk series that consists of a special-edition gaming laptop and peripherals decked out in a sleek black-and-pink combination.
With the new Electro Punk series, the ROG colour palette is expanding to include a new cyberpunk-inspired shade with the hex colour code #F7266B. To make the coloured highlights stand out, classic black was selected as a backdrop to the bold pink.
The Electro Punk colour combination is available across a full set of matching ROG devices that includes the ROG Strix G15 gaming laptop, ROG Strix Go 2.4 headset, ROG Strix Scope TKL keyboard, ROG Strix Impact II mouse, ROG Sheath mouse pad, and ROG Ranger BP1503 backpack.
The 15-inch ROG Strix G15 features the latest 10th Gen Intel Core i7 CPU with 8 cores and 16 threads, as well as an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER GPU. Combined with a 240 Hz gaming display, ultrafast WiFi 6, and up to two NVMe PCIe ® 3.0 SSDs, this is one powerful gaming machine.
Check out the full specifications below:
ROG Strix Go 2.4 Electro Punk is a USB-C 2.4 GHz wireless headset, enabling ultra-stable cordless connections for multi-platform on-the-go gaming, lag-free audio on PC, PS4, Xbox One or smart devices, and the Nintendo Switch in handheld mode.
The lightweight Strix Go 2.4 also charges fast, has a long-lasting battery for nonstop gaming sessions, and comes with a USB-C to USB 2.0 adapter plus a 3.5 mm connector, making it easy to connect to different devices.
The new ROG Strix Scope TKL Electro Punk keyboard features the brand’s iconic Aura Sync lighting shining under every key, through the ROG logo, and even casts an RGB under-glow from below.
It was also created specifically for fast-paced multiplayer gaming, albeit lacking a full
number pad, making up for that with an enlarged left CTRL-key.
The new ROG Strix Impact II Electro Punk gaming mouse comes with five programmable buttons, as well as Aura Sync-enabled RGB lighting integrated into the logo, scroll wheel, and front.
Designed with pro gamers in mind, it delivers smooth gameplay with a whopping 6,200 dpi optical sensor ensures accuracy and responsiveness, while an on-the-fly DPI button can switch between four sensitivity profiles.
Meanwhile, an exclusive push-fit switch socket design makes it simple to change click resistances and extend a mouse’s lifespan.
At 35 inches across and 17 inches deep, every Electro Punk edition Strix G15 laptop comes with a special ROG Sheath desk mat that dials up pinpoint precision for gaming mice.
Made with a durable, lightweight water-repellent exterior, the ROG Ranger BP1503 backpack is customized with pink piping, patches, and a saucy slash across the front.
At the time of writing, ASUS ROG has yet to announce the official price for the products above, or where they can be purchased.
