Lakers Wins NBA Championships In 2K20 Simulation
While real-life players and the league are cracking their heads on methods to best finish the currently-suspended NBA season due to Covid-19, the makers of the NBA 2K franchise, 2K recently simulated the remainder of the season which saw LeBron James-led LA Lakers win their 17th title.
Facing the Milwaukee Bucks who is led by 2k19 cover athlete, Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Lakers needed seven games and a miraculous three-game comeback to win LeBron’s fourth title, and his first with the Lakers.

After going 1-0 up thanks to a dominant first game showing, the Lakers went on a three game losing streak before turning the tides and capping the series win with a slender 103-101 win in Game 7. 2k20 cover athlete, Anthony Davis was named Finals MVP. Additional stats for the simulated finals are as follows:
#2KSim Finals: Los Angeles Lakers (4), Milwaukee Bucks (3)
Game 1: Lakers 129, Bucks 89
Game 2: Bucks 106, Lakers 105 (OT)
Game 3: Bucks 96, Lakers 79
Game 4: Bucks 131, Lakers 101
Game 5: Lakers 141, Bucks 112
Game 6: Lakers 108, Bucks 103
Game 7: Lakers 103, Bucks 101
Losing in seven after coming up so close must really hurt for Giannis. Perhaps it’s time to switch teams for a better chance at winning a championship. It worked for KD didn’t it?
Anyway, since we are at it, 2k20 is on sale right now at the PlayStation store at a ridiculous price of RM22.77. Yep. It’s going for 91% off. If that’s not a steal, then we don’t know what is.
