Fallout 4: New Vegas Mod Team Shows Progress With Latest Video

Believe it or not, there’s currently a development team working to adapt the entirety of Obsidian Entertainment’s Fallout: New Vegas into the newer Fallout 4 engine. Initially launching in 2017, they have since recreated the opening of the original game, inserted dynamic weather effects, and now their latest video showcases even more progress.

This new video recreates fan-favourite NPC Oliver Swanick. If you’ve played Fallout: New Vegas, you’ll be familiar with him as the guy who won the lottery near the town of Nipton (where those Roman wannabes just pillaged) and won’t shut up about it. He later gets devoured alive by radscorpions but it wasn’t the player’s fault (or was it?).

However, in order to avoid copyright infringement by the folks over at Bethesda, the dev team have hired new voice actors for the Fallout 4: New Vegas mod. Check out their glorious work in action below.
