Mafia II & III Definitive Edition Out Now; Mafia Remake Out This August

2K Games announced that the Mafia Trilogy is out now. Sort of.

Fans of the series can now buy two-thirds of the Mafia Trilogy right now: you can play the Definitive Editions of Mafia II and Mafia III right now if you buy the Mafia Trilogy either on PC (Steam), PS4, and Xbox One for US$60/RM199.

If you want to buy these versions of Mafia II and Mafia III separately, it’s US$30 apiece. However, if you have the original games, the Definitive Editions are free.

The first Mafia will be remade from the ground-up using developer Hangar 13’s engine and will be out on 28th August. Everything from the game engine to the graphics will be created anew while retaining the original game’s plot about cab driver Tommy and his induction into the high-powered criminal life.

Check out the games in all their glory below, as well as 20 minutes of Mafia II Definitive Edition gameplay footage in glorious 60fps.
