Riot Games announced that its upcoming team-based shooter Valorant is coming sooner than you think. How does 2nd June sound? Because that’s when it’s available worldwide.

The free-to-play game has been in beta since early April for North American and European players, but not in Southeast Asia. For those who participated in the beta, just keep in mind that all player accounts for this game will be reset and will be patched with new content. This is to ensure everybody is on equal footing when the game is out proper.

Guess we don’t have to wait too long to play this team-based shooter. So far, it’s looking pretty decent and might be Riot Games’ most ambitious foray into the genre. The combination of CS:GO shooting mechanics with hero-based power-ups and abilities should make for a nice title to complement Overwatch and Call of Duty: Warzone.
