Silent Hill Returns, But As A Dead By Daylight Crossover

Asymmetrical multiplayer horror game Dead by Daylight is getting a guest character courtesy of Konami: Silent Hill’s Pyramid Head.

This new Dead by Daylight crossover will feature Pyramid Head as a monster, Midwich Elementary School as a new map, and Cheryl Mason as a new survivor. I’ll say this: it’s a step-up from a pachinko game.

The official description is below,

Midwich Elementary School is the scene of unspeakable horrors. Any sense of the innocence that once marked these halls is gone. In its place: stained walls, rusted chains, hanging cadavers and a sense that things have gone horribly wrong.”

…followed by a quote from Behaviour Interactive game director Mathieu Côté:

“Silent Hill is such an iconic video game license and to add it to our legendary roster of horror is truly an honour. We hope players will have as much fun discovering this Chapter as we had in making it.”

The crossover will go live on 16th June. Are you excited, Silent Hill fans who are still waiting on for that PlayStation rumour to come true?
