The Highly-Anticipated Captain Tsubasa Game Kicks Off This August
By Alleef Ashaari|May 27, 2020|0 Comment
Publisher Bandai Namco and developer Tamsoft have announced that Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions will launch for PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam worldwide on 28 August 2020.
The game will be available in the following special editions:
Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions will be the first game from the long-running and iconic anime/manga franchise since 2010’s Nintendo DS title Captain Tsubasa: Gekito no Kiseki, which launched exclusively in Japan.
This new Captain Tsubasa game is probably to capitalize on the success of the most recent 2018 anime reboot, which ended its run after 52 episodes in early 2019. I remember watching the anime from the early 2000s, and it was awesome even for someone who isn’t a football fan like me.
In the meantime, check out the latest trailer for Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions below.
