The hit anime and manga series The Promised Neverland may be a live-action series on Amazon.
According to a Variety report, the series’ script will be written by one Meghan Malloy (Spider-Man: Into The Spiderverse), with production handled by Fox 21 Television and Amazon Studios. Heroes’ & Mobius Digital’s own Masi Oka and Rodney Rothman (Spider-Man: Into The Spiderverse), alongside Roy Lee and Miri Yoon will also handle executive production roles.
For those who don’t know, The Promised Neverland is an anime and manga series about smart kids who are trying to break out of a heavily-guarded orphanage when they find out the place’s most horrifying secret.
We’ll just let this trailer do the talking. It’s best to find out about the overlying plot by yourself; there are way too many disturbing surprises that need to be experienced for yourself.
