Cyberpunk 2077 Is Delayed Yet Again

For those hoping to play CD Projekt’s sci-fi RPG masterpiece this September, you’re in for a disappointment.

Cyberpunk 2077 is delayed according to the developers themselves on a recent tweet. At least the wait isn’t too long: the game will be out on 19th November instead. That’s a two-month wait from its original 17th September release date.

The reason? CD Projekt felt that the game still needs more improvements in balancing game mechanics, as well as more time in the bug-fixing department.

“Ready when it’s done” is not just a phrase we say because it sounds right, it’s something we live by even when we know we’ll take the heat for it. At the same time, we are fully aware that making such a decision costs us your trust and trading trust for additional time is one of the hardest decisions a game developer can make.

[…] A huge world means a huge number of things to iron out and we will spend the additional time doing exactly that.”

Welp, it’s only 2 months; no sense crying over a slight wait. QA and bug-fixing is really, really important, and the last thing you want is to have your customers do that for you on the actual launched title.
