Ace Combat 7 Sales Fly High With Over 2 Million Copies

We waited more than a decade for Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown and it was totally worth it, turning out to be one of the best games of 2019 (check out my full review here). It looks like a lot of gamers thought so too, as the sales for the game have exceeded two million copies worldwide.

This impressive feat was announced earlier today, which is fittingly also the franchise’s 25th anniversary. The first entry in the combat flight simulator series; simply titled Ace Combat, launched for the original PlayStation on 30 June in 1995 in Japan.

To commemorate the milestone anniversary, Bandai Namco Japan is currently hosting a follow-and-retweet campaign on Twitter for a chance to win an autographed flight stick and a message card signed by none other than the legendary Ace Combat series director Kazutoki Kono.

Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown is now available for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC (via Steam). In the meantime, check out the amazing official performance of the game’s main theme below.
