Is The Fable Series Making A Comeback?

Fans of Xbox and PC RPG Fable (the trilogy and that odd card game) may be in for a treat. Turns out that Microsoft may have plans for the series, as it’s doing a trademark renewal for the title.

According to IGN, the trademark application was filed on 26th June and is still awaiting examination. Of course, this could mean that the company is just holding onto it for safeguarding, but the filing comes with the “intent to use” application. After the initial six months, they can keep filing for the trademark “with intent to use” for as long as five extensions, which is up to three years before they really have to do something new with it. Like make a Fable 4 or a Fable trilogy remaster, for instance.

Guess we’ll have to keep an eye on this Fable Twitter account and even this Perfect Dark account as well then, in the meantime.
