Kingdoms of Amalur Remaster Gets Release Date; Expansion Announced…

Good news for action RPG fans out there looking for lost gems from 2012. Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is getting a makeover. It’ll be called, get this, Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning, and it’ll be out this 8th September.

Check out the trailer below, featuring reworked visuals, gameplay, and other new bits we hopefully will get to experience later this year.

Previously, it was supposed to be out this August, but things change, we guess. Here’s the kicker: the 2012 game is getting a new expansion called Fatesworn. The expansion will be out 2021, and beyond that nothing else is shared. Hopefully, this expansion means more worlds, more locales, more loot, and more action fighting challenging new bosses and enemy types.

You can get the standard edition of Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning for US$40 or the Fate Edition for US$55; the latter comes with the expansion. You can order them here.
