More bad news for film-goers and cinema fans: Disney has delayed a number of its big projects due to COVID-19. Mulan, which was supposed to be out next month, is now delayed indefinitely.

Here’s the official word on that remake (via Hollywood Reporter):

“Over the last few months, it’s become clear that nothing can be set in stone when it comes to how we release films during this global health crisis, and today that means pausing our release plans for Mulan as we assess how we can most effectively bring this film to audiences around the world.”

Also, all future Avatar and Star Wars movies have been delayed for one year. Avatar 2 will be out in December 2022 while the new Star Wars will be out in December 2023. Check out the list below:

  • December 17, 2022 – Avatar 2
  • December 16, 2023 – Untitled Star Wars
  • December 22, 2024 – Avatar 3
  • December 20, 2025 – Untitled Star Wars
  • December 19, 2026 – Avatar 4
  • December 18, 2027 – Untitled Star Wars
  • December 17, 2028 – Avatar 5

Guess fans will have to wait a bit longer for their blue elf Na’vi fix.
