Horizon Zero Dawn PC Is An Imperfect Port But Devs Are Fixing It
By Alleef Ashaari|August 10, 2020|0 Comment
The PC version of Guerrilla Games’ Horizon Zero Dawn is finally out, but it’s not perfect. Many players on Steam are reporting experiencing crashes and other technical issues that affect the performance of the game. It looks well enough, but apparently, the game runs like molasses on even powerful PC rigs.
However, the developer is already on the case lickety-split. In a post update on Steam, Guerilla Games said that they are extremely aware of the issues and is making the investigation of these problems their “highest priority”.
Things have gotten so bad that this critically-acclaimed game is currently having a “Mixed” reviews rating on Steam. That’s not ideal for a game that’s been said to be one of the best of this current generation, and especially egregious considering that there are many Xbox games like Grounded and Halo The Master Chief Collection doing so well on Steam.
Let’s hope these issues are resolved sooner rather than later. It’s a shame that PC gamers are currently experiencing a worse version of Horizon Zero Dawn when they should be getting a superior version.
