Leaked Controller Packaging Confirms Xbox Series S Console

Microsoft has inadvertently revealed its second and cheaper version of the next-gen Xbox console through a leaked next-gen Xbox controller packaging. The Verge has obtained legitimate photos of a white next-gen Xbox controller, and what’s interesting is that the packaging clearly mentions the Xbox Series S alongside the already-announced Xbox Series X.

The side of the packaging notes that the controller works with both Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S consoles. However, Microsoft has yet to officially announce an Xbox Series S yet or even a white version of the new Xbox Series X controller.

It is now rumoured that Microsoft will be officially revealing the Xbox Series S sometime this month in August 2020. The Xbox Series X was initially revealed at Gamescom Opening Night Live 2019 last year, so perhaps this year’s event will see the unveiling of the Xbox Series S.

According to The Verge, the Xbox Series S is expected to feature 7.5GB RAM, four teraflops of GPU performance, and the same CPU as the Xbox Series X.

In the meantime, stay tuned on Kakuchopurei for all the latest news on the Xbox Series X, and check out all the latest updates and developments on all things Xbox to date here.
